DESCRIPTION:Big Brothers Big Sisters BIG Walk is a family-friendly event that unites the community by raising awareness and support for the important role mentoring plays in our community. The 2-mile walk along the beautiful Causeway will allow people to take a journey with friends and family while honoring the mentors in their lives and inspiring others to join our efforts. With children's activities\, entertainment\, refreshments\, and more-there is something for everyone to enjoy!\n\n\n\nThe Big Walk is Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama's largest annual fundraiser\, designed to allow Bigs the opportunity to share their match stories with the goal of raising at least $500 each to help create a match like theirs knowing our Community-based matches cost more to create and support. All our matches are made possible through the generous investments of local individuals\, corporations\, and foundations. Our goal this year is to raise $130\,000 which will help to create over 200 new life-changing friendships. Register or donate online today at www.bbbssa.org/BigWalk2018.
