Description
Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre (ESRT) is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated fall production of the beloved musical, Annie JR on November 8 -10, 2024, at the Daphne Civic Center.
Join us for a heartwarming and timeless tale that follows the adventures of optimistic orphan Annie as she navigates life in 1930s New York City. With a cast of talented young actors, toe-tapping musical numbers, and unforgettable characters, this production promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
Set in the Great Depression, the story centers around the spunky Annie, a young orphan living in a dreary orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie's life changes when she is selected to spend the holidays with the wealthy Oliver Warbucks. With memorable songs like "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and "Maybe," the musical showcases themes of hope, resilience, and the importance of family.
Annie JR is directed by Erin Langley with choreography by Matthew Kiel.
Tickets are now on sale at www.easternshorerep.org or they can be purchased at the door on the day of the show, if seats are still available. General admission tickets are $20. All tickets are non-refundable.
