Description
The 6 weeks CNA program is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with theory and fundamental skills to provide the basic care skills essential in caring for patients in long-term care, hospitals, home care, hospice, and more. This class includes communication; interpersonal skills, documentation; infection control; safety and BLS CPR; patient’s rights, recognizing and reporting abuse, nursing skills, vital signs; body structure and function, which are only a few topics to mention.
Students have the opportunity to experience classroom learning, laboratory practice, and supervised hands-on clinical training in a long-term care facility. After completing and passing all the requirements of the CNA program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the state exam for certified nursing assistants.
