Nature Connect School is thrilled to invite the community to an Engaging Talk on Nature-Based Learning with Dr. Tim McKenzie!
Dr. Tim McKenzie, Ph.D. will share insights from his fascinating dissertation titled "Coyote Play: A Critical Inquiry of Power at a Nature-Based Preschool."
Dr. McKenzie's research (which includes his observations of children at Nature Connect School) delves into how children at a nature-based preschool navigate and express themselves within the educational system. His findings reveal how kids create their own structures, define their space, and care for both themselves and others in their learning environment.
