Bayside Orthopaedic Offers Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic

(Fairhope) Because some things can’t wait until Monday morning, Bayside Orthopaedic continues its Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic this season at its primary clinic in Fairhope. The sports injury team sees athletes with aches & pains from Friday Night Lights, as well as students from a variety of other sports. Evaluation is no charge, but additional fees may be involved with X-Rays, bracing, casting and follow up appointments.

The Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic is open 8am-10am each Saturday through the end of playoffs. A fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, X-ray and MRI staff and physical therapist will be on hand to assess and treat injuries and recommend a follow up treatment plan.

Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic: Saturday August 27th – October 30th

No appointment needed - free injury evaluation by one of our fellowship trained sports medicine physicians.

· Acute injury care for athletes related to injuries such as sprains and strains

· Casting, Bracing and Support

· Concussion management

· X-ray

· Medical issues associated with athletics including asthma, bone health and stress fractures

· General bone and joint care

No charge for evaluation (charges may be incurred for x-rays, supplies, bracing and follow up)

Parent/guardian or coach must attend the clinic with the athlete if under age 18 and be prepared to sign release for treatment and other paperwork. Insurance information should be provided as well.
