Fairhope, Alabama (July 18, 2025) The Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) has opened their Coastal Kids Quiz registration to all fifth grade teachers in the state of Alabama for the 2025-2026 school year. This popular online program is designed to encourage 5th grade students to learn in a fun way about various topics related to Alabama's coastal environment.
Registration is not only free to all public and private school 5 th grade teachers, but Coastal Kids Quiz also provides five rounds of fifteen opportunities for teachers to receive $100 awards in support of classroom instruction. Each round has a new topic with trusted resources and interesting questions to help students learn.
ACF Executive Director Mark Berte says, “We are delighted to offer Coastal Kids Quiz again free of charge to all 5th grade teachers in the state. This fun program both helps to reinforce what they are teaching and also provides financial incentives to encourage learning about Alabama’s precious coastal environment.”
