DAPHNE, Ala.—Infirmary Health is opening a new medical office building in Daphne, Ala.
The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 8.
Infirmary Health has invested more than $26 million in the project that will make healthcare more accessible to residents of Baldwin County’s eastern shore communities. In honor of the Greek heritage of the Malbis community, the building features a neoclassical Greek architectural style.
The 79,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is located on the south side of U.S. Highway 90 and west of Thomas Hospital Emergency-Malbis, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 and County Road 181.
“We are excited to continue growing along with Baldwin County,” explained Mark Nix, President and CEO of Infirmary Health. “This new facility will offer residents of Daphne, Spanish Fort, Malbis and neighboring communities convenient access to a variety of physician practices and specialized medical clinics.”
Diagnostic and Medical Clinic will begin seeing patients here on June 15. Later this year, Infirmary Therapy Services, oncology infusion and Infirmary Surgical Specialists will also see patients in this new space.
