Battleship Memorial Park Announces 2022 Attendance
MOBILE, ALABAMA, January 12, 2023 – USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park is proud to have welcomed 340,380 guests in 2022. The Battleship Commission and staff are grateful to everyone who supported the park as we honor those who have bravely served our country.
USS ALABAMA Battleship Commission Chairman Terry Ankerson comments, “We were pleased with the number of visitors to USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park in 2022. Our international visitors returned as we move farther away from the COVID closures. Our staff is outstanding, and they truly make the visitor’s experience wonderful.”
Battleship Memorial Park’s Executive Director MG Janet L. Cobb, USA (Ret.) states, “We are grateful for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who came to Battleship Memorial Park last year. We work daily to preserve the memory of those who have served in uniform in defense of our nation. Our 155-acre park is also a place of peace and beauty. We look forward to seeing you in 2023.”
