Clean Water Alabama Announces New Community Sponsor Support

CLEAN WATER ALABAMA ANNOUNCES NEW COMMUNITY SPONSOR SUPPORT

Fairhope, Ala. (Jan. 20, 2022) – Clean Water Alabama is excited to announce two new sponsors who have partnered with the Fairhope-based water preservation group to help clean up Alabama waterways.

Streamline Environmental, a stream, wetland and coastal restoration business in Magnolia Springs owned by Jacob Cunningham, David Smart and Mark Delaney, recently donated $5,000 to CWA, in addition to a $5,000 personal contribution from David Smart.

“Clean Water Alabama’s mission is the very thing I do for a living every day, so it was an organization I felt strongly about supporting,” Smart said.

In addition, the Daphne Rotary Club donated $5,000 to CWA’s efforts earlier this month and have committed to future support. 

“One of our greatest resources is Mobile Bay. We want to preserve this wonderful resource and quality of life for fellow citizens,” Daphne Rotary Club President Greg Gontarski said. “After learning more about Clean Water Alabama’s mission and purpose, the Daphne Rotary Club selected them for this recent donation to further their very important cause.”

CWA sponsors also include Piggly Wiggly, Fairhope Soap Company, Baldwin Realtors and Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club.

“As an all-volunteer non-profit organization, we rely on the financial support of donors to sustain our efforts,” said CWA President John Manelos. “We are extremely grateful for the generosity and impassioned response we have received from our community.
