Moyers, Sykes, Hines and Howe Named Employees of the Year at the Original Oyster House

The Original Oyster House restaurants closed early this month for its annual Christmas parties to celebrate employees. The coveted Employee of the Year monetary awards were presented to a back-of-the-house staff member and a front-of-the-house staff member at both locations who exemplify the company’s mission, core values and excellence. The 2023 Mobile Causeway Employees of the Year are Anna Moyers, front-of-the-house cashier and Angela Sykes, back-of the-house prep. The 2023 Gulf Shores Employees of the Year are Travis Hines, front-of-the-house busser and Randy Howe, back-of the-house line cook.

“Anna is versatile in her many roles at the restaurant and consistently wears a smile. She steps up and helps out whenever we need her. Anna is such a team player, staff and guests really enjoy her," said Jim Harrison, general manager of the Original Oyster House on the Mobile Causeway. “Angela takes pride in banquet preparations and is very detailed in her work. She delivers some of our best seafood buffets and guests rave about her culinary skills. Angela is also extremely versatile in the kitchen and a team player," said Harrison

“Travis is such a go getter; he’s always looking for what’s next. He helps out in all areas especially when someone needs him.
