Celebrate the Magic of OWA This Holiday Season
Christmas festivities kickoff November 20!
(Foley, Alabama) – A cheerful 36-foot tall Christmas tree sits at the main entrance of OWA, overlooking the 14-acre lake and picturesque fountain in the center of the property. With this Christmas tree setting the mood, OWA is transformed into a winter wonderland featuring your favorite holiday events including the 5 th annual Tree Lighting ceremony, Brunch with Santa, the North Pole Experience, and more starting November 20!
Holiday fun for everyone begins with the 5th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 20 and continues all season long at OWA! Christmas festivities are sure to delight all ages at the annual Tree Lighting featuring live entertainment, holiday cheer and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
The holiday fun begins at 5:00pm and culminates with the epic lighting of the Christmas tree and holiday inspired fireworks show at 6:30pm.
Festivities will be broadcasted live on OWA’s Facebook and Youtube channels, as well as on numerous screens throughout Downtown OWA to give guest a grand vantage point no matter the location. Be sure to stick around once the tree is lit for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as snowfall in Downtown.

From live performances featuring the Tinsel Tones, to photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, there is something for everyone this holiday season at OWA.” The North Pole Experience opens to guests every Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning November 26- December 19. The week leading up to Christmas, guest can enjoy the experience daily December 20-23. Children and families will be able to participate in free Christmas crafts with Santa’s Elves while waiting to grab a photo with the jolly man himself! Santa’s personal paparazzi will be present to assist with snapping the perfect holiday moment and professional photo packages will be available for purchase.
November 27th marks the first Brunch with Santa on select dates November 27-December 23. Located at Shady Arbor inside The Park at OWA, guest can dine with Santa and enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake spread.
Park admission is not required, simply a seat reservation for just $14.99 per person plus taxes and fees. Reservations are strongly encouraged for this guest favorite event and can be made online at VisitOWA.com/Christmas.
Brand new to OWA this year, Mrs. Claus’ Crafty Christmas is sure to delight guests of all ages! This paid interactive experience will be on select dates November 26-December 19 and features Mrs. Claus along with her North Pole helpers. Guests will enjoy a family-friendly session of Christmas merrymaking through song and dance, cookie decorating and creating custom designed Christmas ornaments. This exciting holiday offering is sure to become a new seasonal favorite! Reservations are required for this limited seating event and can be booked online. Hours and dates for all activities are subject to change.
