Public Comment Meetings Regarding Baldwin County Subdivision Regulations
The Baldwin County Commission’s Planning and Zoning Department will hold a series of public comment meetings to gather input regarding Baldwin County Subdivision Regulations on Monday, December 4, 2023, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, with a virtual option, and Thursday, December 14, 2023.
The Planning and Zoning Department is exploring potential and significant changes to the Baldwin County Subdivision Regulations related to the following issues:
• Streamlines process for minor subdivisions,
• Possible reduced requirements for large-lot, rural subdivisions, and
• Possible new lot size criteria to ensure higher density subdivisions are adequately served by public resources and private services
The public comment meetings will be held as follows:
