The Cary Center and Kim Walker, Director of Women’s Philanthropy Board at Auburn University, to Provide FREE Virtual Training for Nonprofits
The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies will feature Kim Walker, Director of Women’s Philanthropy Board at Auburn University, in a virtual program, titled “Perfecting Your Nonprofit’s Elevator Pitch,” which will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CST via Zoom.
Registration is FREE but required and can be made at: http://www.linktr.ee/carycenterau. Kim Ellis Walker has served as the director of the Women’s Philanthropy Board since 2012. She has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, alumni relations, event planning, marketing/communications, and program development. Kim graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business administration and accounting and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in adult education.
Kim previously worked for Auburn University in several capacities, including serving as the director of external relations and director of development for the College of Education and as a development coordinator in the office of planned giving. Kim serves as vice president of the board of the F. Allen and Louise K. Turner Foundation and is also on the board of the Auburn Heritage Association.
