Bayside Academy Breaks Own National Record by Winning 21st Consecutive State Volleyball Championship
Daphne, Ala., October 27, 2022 – Bayside Academy’s volleyball team won the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A State Championship in Birmingham today. This was Bayside’s 21st AHSAA State Championship in a row, breaking their own national record for most consecutive state championships. Bayside is the only school in the history of the AHSAA to win championships in 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A classifications.
This win marks 28 total state championships for the Admirals under Coach Ann Schilling and 31 total in program history (another national record).
Bayside Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in grades PK3–12.
