Infirmary Health welcomes, Michael Hennigan, M.D. to Coastal Medical Group
Fairhope, Ala. – Michael Hennigan, M.D., board-certified internal medicine physician and fellow of the American College of Endrocrinology, joins Coastal Medical Group (CMG). Dr. Hennigan has more than 30 years of clinical experience in the care of patients with diabetes, lipid disorders and other endocrine diseases such as thyroid disease, metabolic disorders and others.
Dr. Hennigan is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama and completed his residency in internal medicine with the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Hennigan has served on the boards for the Alabama and Florida Quality Assurance Foundation, helping oversee Medicare quality improvement.
Additionally, Dr. Hennigan served as a medical director for Novo Nordisk, a provider of diabetes medication. CMG has five locations in Baldwin County with specialties including endocrinology, family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, pulmonology and sleep medicine.
