Bayside Academy Senior Walker Watson Selected as Candidate for the United States Presidential Scholars Program
Daphne, Ala., February 8, 2022 – Bayside Academy senior Walker Watson has been named a 2022 candidate for the United States Presidential Scholars Program.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, “The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964, by executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors… Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.” Application to the program is by invitation only.
