Small Business is leading the way in addressing the workforce shortage.
Fairhope, AL - Red Branch Outdoor Living has been servicing Baldwin County’s outdoor living construction needs since 2021. Jacob Toler, the company owner, recognized the skilled labor shortage our area is facing, and applied for the Alabama Workforce Stabilization Grant (AWSP) through the state of Alabama through partnerships with the Department of Labor, Department of Education and Alabama Technology Network to upskill laborers.
This program will allow laborers to gain on the job certification and improve our local labor force. As part of this grant, 7 employees from Red Branch Outdoor Living will complete Oasis Stone Works Training, building a waterfall at the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. This project will start today and run through Friday, March 31st. Red Branch Outdoor Living is committed to bettering the community in which we serve, and to provide these opportunities for laborers in our area.

This program allows employers like Red Branch Outdoor Living to further train their employees allowing them to increase their skill set and enhance advancement opportunities. It’s a wonder program and we are excited to see the project they complete at our office,” says Casey Williams, President of the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.
