Coastal Alabama Community College is thrilled to announce that The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, an “electrifying” (Newsday) musical adaption of The New York Times bestselling novel written by Rick Riordan, will play at the L.D. Owen Performing Arts Center on Coastal’s Bay Minette campus Friday, April 19 at 7pm, Saturday, April 20 at 7pm and Sunday, April 21 at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $15 for general admission, free for all students.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical has a Drama Desk nominated book by Joe Tracz, music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki. This production will feature Coastal Alabama students in all roles onstage, backstage, as well as in the live band. This production is produced and directed by Dr. Patrick Jacobs, conducted by Dr. Scott Wright, with musical preparation by Rebecca Barry, dance choreography by Heidi Lemon and stage combat choreography by Stewart Hawley.
