For National Doctors' Day (3/30), South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has made a charitable contribution in their honor this year. In lieu of receiving a gift, a total of $6,000 was donated to Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center and Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation. Because of our providers' generosity, child victims of abuse will receive vital resources through Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, and those battling cancer will be able to focus on their health without financial burden through Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation.
"While presenting the checks to each of these local nonprofits, their gratitude for our medical teams' donation spoke volumes. Each day, they are faced with different challenges as they offer services free of charge and count on donations like this to make an impact in our community," said South Baldwin Regional Medical Center's CEO Margaret Roley. "Thank you to our providers, for not only the outstanding care provided when patients need it, but also for your unwavering support when our community needs you," Roley added.
