Eastern Shore Art Center’s 4th Annual “White Linen Night” Features A Night in Old New Orleans!
Musical jazz stylings of The Big Easy will fill the galleries of ESAC on Thursday, May 19 amidst both silent and live art auctions for the White Linen Night 2022 fundraising gala. The Art Center has lined up music by the New Orleans Ramblers featuring Tim Jackson for the evening, with exceptional Louisiana fare and art auctions a la Jackson Square. A festive signature cocktail by The Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa will also be featured.
Mercedes-Benz of Mobile is serving again this year as Benefactor Level Sponsor, with Gulf Coast Events and Rentals creating the magical splendor that wows guests each year.
Chesley Allegri, Chair of this year’s event, said tickets will sell quickly. “The Art Center will be transformed in the artistic spirit of Jackson Square with caricature drawing by J.D. Crowe, tarot readings, and live painting by Nancy Raia,” said Allegri. “The gala committee expects a sellout again this year,” she said.
“Our sponsors make this event possible,” said Bryant Whelan, executive director of the Art Center. “It’s all intended to support the arts along the Eastern Shore.” Whelan said that in past years the Art Center reached over 31,000 people annually through its programming. “Fundraising events like White Linen Night help us reach our mission, and our sponsors make it possible,” said Whelan.
