Anchor QEA New Hire Announcement
Anchor QEA is excited to announce that Richard Markey (Mike) has joined the team as a Principal Scientist out of our Daphne office. With decades of power utility management experience, he will be instrumental in expanding our practice in the Gulf Coast.
Mike brings experience from large power companies and will support Anchor QEA’s work with clients in the energy industry nationwide. Anchor QEA is an internationally respected environmental and engineering consulting firm that focuses on serving clients in the energy and utility industries. Our team includes experts in coal combustion residuals (CCR), manufactured gas plants, oil and gas, hydroelectric power, renewable energy, and integrated power utilities.
Holding multiple leadership positions in his community, Mike has been notably active in the Georgia Chapter of Air and Waster Management, Coastal Plains Chapter and Florida Section, Florida Electric Coordinating Group, and many more. With degrees in civil engineering and geology, his expertise further increases Anchor QEA’s capacity to support project management across all aspects of power facility operations, environmental compliance, and development.
