NAWBO ALABAMA POWERS THE VOICE OF MOBILE’S WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS

Features a Bi-Partisan Conversation Around Issues That Matter Mobile, Alabama (June 24, 2021) — The Alabama chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is excited to host its first in-person meeting of the year, “An Evening with Mobile’s Mayoral Candidates,” featuring a bi-partisan conversation with candidates from both sides of the aisle around issues that matter most to women business owners.
The event will take place on June 30th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Mobile’s Innovation Portal. During this event, the mayoral candidates invited, Judge Karlos Finley (D), Councilman Fred Richardson (D) and Mayor Sandy Stimpson (R) will be asked questions about their views and priorities regarding elevating the support of diversity, equity and inclusion, specifically related to women business owners in Mobile, among other issues. Questions will come from members of both NAWBO and the FOCUS Women’s Conference. Kym Anderson of Local 15 News will moderate this important conversation.

Dr. James is a leader of NAWBO Alabama, which serves entrepreneurial women from across the state in Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. “We are fostering partnerships and a lock step to real sisterhood by displaying the diversity, treasures and links we have within our chapter. This ultimately broadens our community of successful women who are committed to not only their own success, but also each other’s success.”
