Eric Lee, Development Director for the Mobile-area American Heart Association, recently visited Thomas Hospital to deliver 50 infant CPR kits in honor of National CPR and AED Awareness Week. The kits, made possible through the generous support of the Snook Foundation, will be used to help educate and prepare new parents in the community. In addition to the CPR kits, a plaque was presented to Ormand Thompson, President of Thomas Hospital, in recognition of the hospital’s sponsorship of the 2024 Baldwin County Heart Walk.
Tiffiny Lorraine Moseley, MSN, RNC-OB, C-ONQS, Director of Women’s and Children’s Services at Thomas Hospital, accepted the CPR kits on behalf of the hospital. “Thank you so much for this generous donation,” said Moseley. “We use these kits for our special care babies and for infants born prior to 37 weeks gestation. We are always grateful to have this valuable resource available to our new parents to help them prepare to take their little ones home safely.”
Bridgett Dunn, Senior Development Officer for the Gulf Coast Region of the American Heart Association, emphasized the importance of both the donation and the hospital’s ongoing support: “We are proud to partner with Thomas Hospital during CPR Week to equip families with vital, life-saving tools. We’re also deeply grateful for the hospital’s continued commitment to heart health in our community, shown through their sponsorship of the Baldwin County Heart Walk.”
