BALDWIN COUNTY, AL, July 29, 2022 – Governor Kay Ivey has appointed Mr. Matthew P. McKenzie to serve on the Baldwin County Commission effective August 1, 2022. Mr. McKenzie will serve as the Baldwin County District 2 Commissioner; the position that was previously held by Mr. Joe Davis III.
A swearing in ceremony will take place on August 2, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. in the Baldwin County Administration Building County Commission Chambers located at 322 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507.
The Baldwin County Commission is honored to have Mr. McKenzie fill the District 2 Baldwin County Commission seat. Mr. McKenzie has dedicated his life to service. His career began as he served five and a half years in the United States Marine Corps. After his time in the Marine Corps, Mr. McKenzie worked and retired after 24 years with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
