The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce celebrated Shorty’s Safe Haven with a ribbon cutting. Shorty's Safe Haven is a local 501c3 nonprofit that brings foster kids/at risk youth and horses together for Equine Assisted Therapy. Our services are at no cost to our families. We run solely on donations and community support.
"In 2020 I adopted my daughter’s best friend & saved one of my horses I had given away from the kill lot in Louisiana. I decided to bring the two together. We cannot do what we do with out the support from our community."
