South Alabama Land Trust Volunteer and Outreach Events
FAIRHOPE, AL – South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) is offering events and volunteer opportunities that get people outside enjoying nature and being part of the conservation community.
In February, there are two volunteer days at the Weeks Bay Reserve on Highway 98 near Fish River. The volunteer days are Tuesday February 1, either 9am to noon, or 1pm-4pm. And again on Saturday, February 5, from 9am – noon.
In March, join SALT and other volunteers for the 7th annual Floating Cleanup on Saturday, March 12. This year’s cleanup will take place starting at Meaher State Park on the Causeway, from 9am – noon. This is a bring-your-own canoe or kayak, or, SALT will have canoes available for those without a vessel.
Also in March, join your friends for the SALT Benefit BINGO at Braided River Brewing in Mobile on Wednesday, March 16 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
