FAIRHOPE, AL – The Thomas Hospital Auxiliary named Becky Mayr as Volunteer of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2025. Since joining the Auxiliary seven years ago, she has volunteered almost 900 hours at the information desk at Thomas Medical Center in Daphne.
Becky has proudly served as the chairperson for three years.
Before retirement, Becky managed volunteers at the American Red Cross for almost 40 years. She feels both her career and family are her legacy. Her son Mike and daughter Missy live near her on the Eastern Shore. Becky is very proud of them and her four grandchildren and three great grandchildren, who live out of state. She enjoys travelling to visit them and playing bridge, gardening and spending time at the beach. Becky’s fellow volunteers say she is a great supervisor who is kind and thoughtful to them and Thomas Medical Center visitors. We’re fortunate to have such a committed volunteer!
